Council approves auto fire aid with Quapaw Tribe

MIAMI – An automatic aid agreement contract with the Quapaw Tribe Fire/EMS and the City of Miami has been approved by the city council.

Miami Fire Chief Robert Wright presented the aid agreement.

“I would like to upgrade our mutual aid agreement to an automatic aid agreement which will help us in a least three different ways, one being manpower on initial response, another being how quick we can get to the northeast part of town with their assistance, and third, it will help our ISO rating,” Wright said.
