Workshop gives Native American youth the chance to be digital storytellers

Sierra and Carmen Thompson laid eight posters of colorful photographs — their photographs, taken with high-end cameras — on the floor of the American Indian Community Housing Organization lobby in Duluth on Thursday afternoon.

Sierra, 10, said she had taken pictures before, but never with a professional camera.

"It was really cool," Sierra said. "It had all these cool buttons."
