Youth basketball clinic held in Red Lake

The Red Lake Nation hosted Hall of Fame Coach Larry McKenzie of Minneapolis North, who volunteered to come up and work with our kids on their game. The kids enjoyed the drills and the message he passed on. The event was also sponsored by Red Lake Comp Health.

McKenzie has produced 26 division 1 athletes in his career and won 5 state titles. He also took in an evening of our August pow wow with his wife and assistant coach. He will be back on September 24 to do a clinic again as he really enjoyed the kids, the hospitality and the gifts from the Chairman's office.
