Yellow Shawl program offers safe housing to youths who stay in school

For months, RJ Chief and Jess Mentuck slept on mats in drop-in centres and carried all their belongings on their backs.

"I felt like nobody wanted to help me," said Mentuck. "I just felt lost and broken down."

All that changed recently thanks to a new Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre program.
