Winnebago tribe heads to North Dakota to fight for their right to clean water in the Missouri River

WINNEBAGO, Nebraska - Members of the Winnebago Tribe were packed up and ready to head on their weekend long trip to North Dakota by 5 a.m. Friday. Although they have a long road ahead, they are taking a stand to fight against the implementation of the Bakken Pipeline

"I think it should stop because it affects everybody, not just the Native Americans," says Iris Payer, Standing Rock Sioux Reservation member. "It affects the non-members, and the tribal members."

And members say this fight comes from a history of contamination.
