"Drug Bust" in Redby

Redby, MN - On 09/02/2016, the Red Lake Department of Public Safety Drug Task Force in conjunction with the Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at a rural residence in Redby, MN for illegal drugs.

The search warrant resulted in a seizure of approximately 35 grams of methamphetamine, 1.5 grams of heroin and two firearms with one firearm identified as an illegal weapon. In addition, cash and precious metals were also seized. The street value of seized drugs is estimated to be near $3,500.00.

Three adults males ages 34, 33 and 23 were taken into custody at the residence and face charges of selling and possesion of controlled substances, disorderly house and child endangerment. All three were transferred to the Red Lake Detention Center.

The Drug Task Force and ERT is operated by the Red Lake Department of Public Safety and consist of the Criminal Investigation, Patrol and Conservation Enforcement division.

The Red Lake Department of Public Safety continues to conduct illegal narcotics and drug enforcment to improve community health and public safety.

As always, members of the drug task force are seeking the public's help in identifiying person(s) suspected of selling or trafficking illegal drugs.
