RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) As the school year begins, a key focal point for educators in the Rapid City Area School District is raising Native American graduation rates that lag behind districtwide rates.

For new school superintendent Dr. Lori Simon that means stressing partnerships -- and attendance.
