Hundreds of cars... tents... teepees...
It's clear they're in it for the long haul.
And as hundreds spend the day protesting.
Mona Richards stays here.
Her job is keep every single person fed.
"Can't leave anyone out. I didn't even know I was coming here. I asked the spirits if you want me to come and help cook, just let me know and I started just crying. Next thing you know I was on my way," says Richards.
Luckily she didn't have to worry about ingredients.
Donations took care of that.
"We've got a whole tent full of supplies... We are getting food from everywhere," says Karen Pourier, volunteer.
From New York... to right here in Standing Rock.
"Got 1500 cases of sunny delight" says Richards.
