Speedway season winds down with exciting races

BEMIDJI — Each summer at Bemidji Speedway, the kids take over the racing on the track, creating replica cardboard box cars to race on the track during intermission.

On Sunday 30 kids, ages 3-11, did just that. The joy of racing was shone on the faces of all who participated and watched.

With just two more weeks of Bemidji Speedway points to decide track champion the races are heating up with many classes to close to call. The next two weeks will decide who wins the season points championship title in each class.
