Two people found dead near the City of Mahnomen

MAHNOMEN COUNTY, Minn. (Valley News Live) - Authorities received a call Tuesday morning about a shooting at a residence 11 miles northeast of Mahnomen, Minnesota.

When law enforcement arrived on scene they found a 75-year-old man dead in a quonset and a 71-year-old woman dead inside the home.

An autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death. The names of the two people have not been released.

The case is being investigated by the Mahnomen County Sheriff's Office, White Earth Police Department and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
