Tyrone Warren Morgan, "Muckadaywegahbow" which means "Black Bear Standing", "Pooh Bear", age 32, of Cass Lake and the Bear Clan, who was originally of Inger, Minnesota, entered the spirit world on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from his home in Cass Lake. Tyrone was born on January 24th, 1984 to Ernestine Morgan and Gary Roy.

Tyrone's childhood was spent in Inger, Minnesota where he was raised by his grandmother Mary Roy. He became an expert at hunting, fishing, ricing and he had many other talents including netting, rice pole making and so on. As he got older and grew into a man, he moved to Cass Lake to be with his family and uncles. Tyrone was a knife collector and loved working with his hands. He loved working for the T.R.P. Program in which he worked for the last five years as a Sawyer and a jack of all trades within the program. Tyrone was a good spirited person, a good friend, loved by many and would give you the shirt off his back, for which he will be missed.

Family welcoming Tyrone to the spirit world are his brother; Ronald Headbird, grandmas; Mary Roy and Rose Morgan Johnson, grandpa; Robert Johnson, uncles; Kelly Haugen, Will St. Cyr and Stuart Kingbird, step-dad; Kent Headbird and many other relatives.

He leaves behind his parents; Gary Roy and Ernestine (Louis Councillor) Morgan, brother; Darrell Headbird, sister; Shannon Roy, aunties; Flossy Morgan, Dolly Esquevelle, Lisa Morgan, Faith Kingbird and Nancy Kingbird, uncles; Brian, Shannon and Thomas Haugen, Richard Morgan, William Johnson, Cecil, Gerald and Patrick Haugen, Joe and Darwin Kingbird and Lenny Abrams, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

A wake for Tyrone will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 7th and continue until his 11:00 a.m. traditional service on Monday, August 8th all being held at the Facility Center in Cass Lake. Louis Councillor will be his Spiritual Advisor. Pallbearers for Tyrone are Jessie Dunn, Darnell Johnson, Brandon Fairbanks, Josh Morgan, Paris Johnson, Torrey Kingbird, Fred Littlewolf and Keith Morris. Alternate pallbearers are Rupert Littlewolf and Eddie Morgan. His honorary pallbearers all his family and friends and his TEP Crew. Interment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery at Bena, Minnesota following his Monday service.
