ALEXANDRIA, Minn. -- Names have been released following the shooting of a 31-year-old man during an undercover operation by Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension agents in downtown Alexandria Tuesday afternoon.
The man shot was Adam Jo Klimek, of Carlos, a small town nine miles northeast of Alexandria.
According to the St. Paul Police Department, who are conducting the investigation into the shooting, the BCA operation involved the sexual solicitation of minors.
During the operation, numerous BCA agents entered a single family home in Alexandria and encountered Klimek, who had a knife, the initial report said. He then charged three agents, two of which fired their weapons. The two were Elizabeth Eilers and Dustin Van de rhagen, said the report.
