Yurok Council seats up for election

Primary election day for three open Yurok Tribal Council seats is Oct. 12, according to a Yurok Tribal press release.

The Yurok Tribal Council consists of nine members — seven council members representing the seven Tribal districts, a chair and a vice-chair. Councilors are elected to a three-year term, according to the Yurok election board.

The following candidates are certified to run for Tribal Council seats, according to the release.
