Judy Alice Moreno, 69, of St. Paul, formerly of Red Lake died Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Cerenity Care Center in St. Paul, MN.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Friday, August 5, 2016 at the St. Mary's Mission Catholic Church in Red Lake, Minnesota. A wake will begin at 1:00 pm on Wednesday at the Red Lake Center and will continue until the time of the services on Friday. Interment will be at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

Judy was born November 26, 1946 in Red Lake, MN, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Roberts) Cobenais. She was raised and educated in Red Lake, graduating 8th Grade from St. Mary's Mission School. She married Leonard Spears and Louie Moreno who are both deceased. She lived in Red Lake, Chicago and St. Paul. She worked in a variety of jobs in manufacturing, telemarketing, and home health care. She loved to play bingo, Keno, cribbage and cards, and do picture puzzles. She did not like to lose and would call anyone who won a "witch". Her life's joy was being around her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Margaret "Mitsy" (Danny) Register of St. Paul,

Marty (Dawn Loeffler) Cobenais of Bagley,

JoAnn (Lee) Anderson of St. Paul,

Leonard "Son" Spears of St. Paul,

11 grandchildren,

3 great grandchildren,

sisters: Marian Roy of Red Lake,

and her twin sister Joan Cobenais of Danbury, Wisconsin

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Clarence "Superman", Alvin "Bollo" , Donald "Donnie", Richard "Dickie", Darrell, Duane "Wayne" , Harold "Henry", Stanley, and sisters: Sarah and Margaret.

Active Casketbearers will be T. J. Cobenais, Ron Cobenais, John Cobenais, David Cobenais, Mike Cobenais, Roland Roy, with alternates: Gary Cobenais, Myron Cobenais, Jim Roy and William "Billy" Roy.

Honorary Casketbearers will be all Judy's grandchildren.
