BIA announces special tribal election of the Kiowa Business Committee

Tribal members of the Kiowa Indian Tribe of Oklahoma are hereby advised a Special Tribal Election of the Business Committee for the Kiowa Indian Tribe of Oklahoma will be held on September 17, 2016, for the purpose of voting on the following positions of the Kiowa Business Committee: Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and four (4) Committeemen. The election will be conducted by the Bureau of Indian Affairs for the Kiowa Indian Tribe of Oklahoma under the authority delegated by Article IV, Section 3, of the Constitution and Bylaws of the Kiowa Indian Tribe of Oklahoma.

You now have the opportunity to vote on the eight positions of the Kiowa Business Committee ("KBC").

Only tribal members who are 18 years of age or older on the date of this election and have registered with the Election Board for the Special Tribal Election of the KBC shall be entitled to vote in this election.
