Primary Function:

To perform the job successfully, individual should demonstrate the following competencies; Interpersonal Skills, Focuses on solving conflicts-not blaming. Listens to others-without interrupting. Remains open to other's ideas-and tries new things. Dependability; follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own action; keeps commitments. Reports directly to Little Rock District Representatives, full-time position, w/benefits, salary; DOQ.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

• Plan and coordinate fund raisers.

• Helps prepare for involvement in community organizations and events.

• Responds to calls from community regarding planned events and activities.

• Responsible for public relations to get residents involved in purposeful activities.

• Schedule events for families to include; skiing, tubing, and swimming.

• Plowing and weatherizing for Elders and the physically challenged.

• Participates with Food Shelf to include; transporting food from Crookston and deliver to distribution areas.

• Keep daily record of all activities, as well as inventory of property.

• Grounds maintenance of ball fields and where needed.

• Maintain grounds and facilitates as required.

• Maintain the Little Rock social media websites.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

General Requirements:

• Ability to speak effectively before groups of community members and employees of organizations.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardize situations.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to write routine general reports and correspondence.

• Ability to understand and interpret department budget and adhere to line items.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Little Rock community member and maintain residency.

• GED/High School Diploma or must be obtained within 6 months.

• Basic computer knowledge/experience.

• 3-6 months related experience and/or training-or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Valid Minnesota Drivers License.

• Current proof of insurance for personal vehicle.

• Reliable personal vehicle.

• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check.
