FX Drilling will plead guilty to 2011 Blackfeet Reservation Oil Spill

GREAT FALLS - A Nevada Oil Company will plead guilty to charges stemming from a 2011 oil spill on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.

Court documents filed this week said FX Drilling has agreed to plead guilty to two criminal charges and pay a $100,000 fine.

Earlier this year, a grand jury indicted the company and its field supervisor Quay Geza Torok for the Negligent Discharge of Oil into Waters of the United States and the Failure to Report the Discharge of Oil into Waters of the United States.
