Oneida Tribe exploring sales tax for tribal land

BROWN COUNTY - (WLUK) The Oneida Nation Indian Tribe is considering adding a sales tax for retailers operating on tribal land.

The tax would be in addition to the state's five percent sales tax.

The idea was on the agenda for the tribe's semi-annual General Tribal Council meeting.
