Superior man accused of threatening judge

A Superior man accused of threatening a judge made his initial appearance earlier this month in Douglas County Circuit Court.

A special prosecutor was appointed to handle the case because the suspect also allegedly threatened the district attorney.

Jeremy Michael Cross, 41, faces felony charges of threat to judge and threat to prosecutor as well as misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, resisting an officer and three counts of bail jumping. On June 21 his bail was set at $500 cash with the condition that he have no contact with Circuit Court Judge George Glonek, his office or staff unless necessary and no direct contact with District Attorney Dan Blank, his office or staff.
