Officials investigate officer-involved shooting on Laguna Pueblo

LAGUNA PUEBLO, N.M. —New Mexico State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened Monday on the Laguna Pueblo north of Interstate 40.

Officers responded to a call for assistance from the Laguna Tribal Police in reference to an armed person running from tribal authorities.

State police located the person and shots were fired.
