Aaron Payment re-elected as chairman of Sault Ste. Marie Tribe

Aaron Payment has won another term as chairman of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Michigan.

Payment defeated Keith Massaway for the post, the tribe announced. The election was held on Thursday.

“I am honored and humbled to have been returned to office by Sault Tribe voters," Payment said in a press release.
