William Stephen Rock, age 58, of Minneapolis journeyed to the Spirit World on June 19, 2016.

He was born on August 17, 1957 in Ponsford, MN to Francis Rock and Frances (Ortley) Rock.

William grew up in Ponsford, MN and attended Pine Point School. He moved to Minneapolis in 1986 with the rest of his family and he made this his home. Shortly after moving, he met his wife, Karen White, and they started their family. He worked for Cedar Box Company for 18 years. He was friendly, very well liked and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Wolf Clan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Zack White; grandparents Amy & Zack Rock; maternal grandmother Jeanette Jones; brother Simon Frank Rock; sister: Stephanie Rock; and adopted brother David Norman Axedahl.

He is survived by his wife Karen; sons Francis White, William Rock Jr., Tommy Rock, & Jason Maurstad; daughters Linda Rock (Windows Matthews), Margaret Rock, Holly Rock and Jae Lynn Maurstad-Rock; granddaughters Naomie, Brianna, Capri and two grandbabies on the way; siblings Mabel Bellanger, Samuel Rock, Paulette Rock, Theresa Rock, Pamela Rivera, Jeanetta Jones, Duane Basswood & Balrrie Basswood; many other relatives and friends.

An all-night wake will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 beginning at 5:00 pm at Little Earth Gym in Minneapolis, MN. Further all-night wake will be held on Thursday beginning at 5:00 pm at New School in Ponsford, MN.

Funeral services for William Rock will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 1:00 pm at New School in Ponsford, MN.

Interment will be held at St. Theodore's Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Point, MN

Honorary casket bearers will be Marvin Bunker, Royce Beckett, Francis Rock, Orlando Rivera and all his family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Steve Rock, Samuel Peake, Francis White, Justin Fairbanks, Aaron Rock and David Rock.

Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted, MN assisted the family with arrangements.
