Two arrests made in hit-and-run crash that killed 10-year-old Lake Park girl

LAKE PARK, Minn. -- Ginnie Donovan of Lake Park was in the midst of a prayer service for her daughter Monday night when she got the call from the Minnesota State Patrol.

Two Hastings residents had been arrested in the hit and run crash that killed 10-year-old Caylin Donovan of Lake Park about 10 days ago on a highway on the shores of Lake Mille Lacs.

Arrested were Steven Lee Meier, 44, and Deborah Lynn Chandler, 45, after a tip from the public aided the Minnesota State Patrol investigation.
