DULUTH, Minn. - One new addition to Duluth's city parks could be more interpretative signs.
The Duluth Indigenous Council would like to increase the visibility of Native American culture in the area.
They want to bring signs both written in Native American languages and English to many parks throughout the city.
"It's important so that our children who are raised in this area can look at a picture or a sign or word and identify that's part of my culture that's my people. I know that Anishinaabe word," commissioner Carol DeVerney.
