Omnibus date set for Bemidji man accused of manslaughter in death of 2-year-old

BEMIDJI -- An omnibus hearing for a Bemidji man charged with second-degree manslaughter in connection with the death of his 2-year-old foster child has been set for August 15.

Nathan Daniel Jackson Sr., 38, was arrested June 5 after the Bemidji Police Department responded to a report of an unresponsive child at about 11:21 a.m. at a residence in the 700 block of Lake Avenue Southeast, according to a criminal complaint from the Beltrami County Attorney’s Office.
