JOURDAIN TRIAL: Testimony details extent of injuries

BEMIDJI -- Details of the death of a Redby woman emerged Wednesday during the trial of the Bemidji man police say killed her in February 2015.

Krista Marie Fisherman, 35, died as the result of blood loss from two stab wounds to her legs, according to Ramsey County Assistant Medical Examiner Dr. Victor Froloff, whose testimony Wednesday opened the third day of Brian Keith Jourdain’s trial.

Police say Jourdain, 26, stabbed Fisherman in the Herberger’s parking lot. He is charged with two counts of second-degree murder, one with and one without intent. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison.
