Click It or Ticket cites 7,000 statewide

ST. PAUL -- More than 7,000 drivers across Minnesota were cited for not buckling up as part of the most recent Click it or Ticket law enforcement campaign May 23-June 5, according to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.

During the campaign, the Bemidji Police Department wrote 30 seat belt citations and two child restraint citations, while the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office did not record any citations for that period.
