Head-on crash on Hwy. 61 kills driver, injures her 2 granddaughters

A Wisconsin woman was killed and her two granddaughters injured Saturday evening in a head-on collision on Hwy. 61, a few miles south of Lake City, Minn., authorities said Sunday.

Killed was Susan K. Drazkowski, of Fountain City, Wis., the patrol said. Hospitalized with noncritical ­injuries were two granddaughters: Taylor S. Jones, 11, and Savannah J. Jones, 8.

The driver of the other vehicle, Takahiro Suzuki, was taken to a hospital in Rochester with serious injuries, the patrol said. Suzuki's age and city of residence were not released.
