Blackduck down, but not out, after loss to Red Lake County

BEMIDJI — After their third game in as many days, the Blackduck high school baseball team couldn’t keep its hot offense going.

The Drakes, who had scored 18 runs in Wednesday’s win over Fosston and 11 in Tuesday’s game against Win-E-Mac, didn’t have the same results on Thursday against Red Lake County Central.

The Rebels held the Drakes offense at bay and put up some big numbers of their own en route to a 19-3, six-inning victory in their Section 8A semifinal game on Thursday at Bemidji State.
