BAGLEY, Minn.—A 43-year-old Bagley man convicted of vehicular homicide after hitting a man with a Chevy Tahoe and then telling his passengers to pretend they didn't see anything was sentenced Wednesday to four years in prison.

Elmer William Thompson pleaded guilty to the felony in April in Clearwater County District Court. An additional felony count of failing to stop for a collision, injury or death was dismissed Wednesday.
