Blackduck topples Win-E-Mac, advances to 8A East title

BEMIDJI -- The Blackduck baseball team defeated Win-­E­-Mac 11-­5 on Tuesday in the second round of the Sub-Section 8A East baseball playoffs.

Seniors Nathan Affield, Jay Cheney and Wyatt Brands hit doubles for the Drakes in the first inning.

Win­-E-­Mac’s Mikah Olson, Kolton Stuhaug, Nathan Fortman and Alec Kiecker each had singles in the second inning. Stuhaug also hit a double in the third inning for the Patriots.
