Man escapes house fire in Eckles Township

BEMIDJI—The owner of a home in Eckles Township escaped with his life after fire engulfed his house Friday evening.

Bemidji Firefighters responded to a house fire at 8:56 p.m. Friday in the 11000 block of state Highway 89, according to a release from the department.
