LOCAL RULE AMENDMENTS AND PROPOSED LOCAL RULE AMENDMENTS

The United States District Court for the District of Minnesota has approved amendments to the Court’s Local Rules. Amendments to LR 49.1, Filing Documents Under Seal in Criminal Cases, take effect on May 16, 2016.

The United States District Court for the District of Minnesota is also issuing for public comment proposed new LR 5.6, Filing Documents Under Seal in Civil Cases. All public comments to the proposed amendments must be

submitted by July 29, 2016. To see the public notice, amended LR 49.1, proposed new LR 5.6, and the proposed new Joint Motion Form, visit the Court’s website at http://www.mnd.uscourts.gov.
