Sanford Health recognizes nurses

BEMIDJI—With more than 490 nurses, Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota is the largest employer of nurses in the region. To celebrate the profession, Sanford recently honored nursing staff with a Nursing Recognition Reception. At the reception several individuals received recognition, according to a Sanford release.

• The Nursing Innovation Award recognizes a nurse or nursing team involved in innovation in the practice of nursing through behaviors, actions and delivery of care. The recipient of the 2016 Nursing Innovation Award was CiOps Team. Team members include Sarah Sherwood, Claire Frenzel, Debra Dittman, Ashley Wavrin, Andrea Flack, Erin Petrowske, Karla Svingen, Nicholle Bieberdorf and Rebecca Meisner.
