As Trump Heads to Nation's Capital, Will Congressman Erik Paulsen Stump for His Party Nominee's Dangerous and Discriminatory Agenda?

Paulsen campaign: “[Congressman Paulsen] expects to vote for the nominee.”

Washington DC – With Donald Trump set to meet with Speaker Paul Ryan and Republican leaders on Capitol Hill Thursday, Americans United for Change challenged Congressman Erik Paulsen (R-MN-3) to elaborate in detail on his pledge to support Trump now that he’s the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. It’s time voters learn how much Congressman Paulsen agrees with Trump’s hateful, xenophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-woman, anti-environment, anti-middle-class proposals and rhetoric. To make it easy for the Congressman, here’s a sample of recent news headlines summing up Trump’s dangerous and discriminatory vision for making the American economy tank again, and all his office has to do it specify with which he “Approves” or Disapproves”. As an official Trump supporter, Congressman Paulsen’s silence and refusal to condemn his Party’s presidential nominee’s extreme policies (and questionable business practices) can only be assumed as an endorsement of them.
