Large police presence in St. Paul after shots ring out early Monday

Residents of a St. Paul neighborhood just north of downtown were awakened by a volley of gunshots early Monday.

Police descended on the area of Buffalo and Acker Streets around 3:30 a.m. according to an audio recording posted on the Police Clips website.

So far there is no official word from police.
