Manufacturers talk educational connections: Industry leaders discuss how to grow workforce, keep young people in the region

BEMIDJI -- Representatives from construction companies, manufacturing plants and engineering firms gathered at the Sanford Center on Wednesday to discuss the state of industry in northern Minnesota.

The meeting was organized by the Highway 2 West Manufacturer's Association, which holds meetings about four times a year in communities from Cass Lake to Grand Forks along the U.S. Highway route.
