Man pleads guilty to assaulting officer during investigation

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A man is accused of assaulting a police officer during an investigation into a drive-by shooting on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation has pleaded guilty.

Michael Decoteau pleaded guilty to tampering and assaulting and resisting a federal officer. He faces a maximum penalty of 28 years in prison.
