Americans for Prosperity-Minnesota State Director Jason Flohrs had the following to say:

"Our taxpayer scorecard is an objective standard for how elected officials are voting on the key issues affecting prosperity and economic opportunity. We appreciate those members who stood up for economic freedom in our nation's capital, and we need more members willing to work against needless tax hikes and promote responsible spending and common-sense regulatory reform. Part of our long-term grassroots model is letting the public know when their lawmakers are headed in the wrong direction, and it's just as important to thank those who take principled stands for freedom."

Minnesota lawmakers voted on key issues such as the extension of tax handouts to the green energy industry, the repeal and reform of Obamacare, the Clean Power Plan, and on spending issues such as transportation funding and tax extenders.
