Winnipeg police release new details in 2012 murder of Simone Sanderson

Winnipeg police have narrowed down the timeline of events that led to the discovery of an Indigenous woman’s body in 2012.

Police also say they have DNA evidence that could help confirm the person responsible for the unsolved murder.

But a private investigator, hired by the 23-year-old’s grandmother, says the police investigation is seriously flawed.
