BEMIDJI—The Bemidji school district has money problems that will require staff and program reductions over the next few years, district officials said Monday.
The special meeting of the School Board focused primarily on the district's financial standing—namely a stubborn annual deficit projected at $350,000 for next year, and an annual contingency fund that has dwindled well below district guidelines.
