Comedy show nixed? Ralphie May's Bemidji act likely canceled after video makes rounds

BEMIDJI—A comedy show scheduled for Saturday at the Sanford Center will likely be canceled after a firestorm of protests over a video of the comedian, Ralphie May, that was shared on social media Wednesday. In the video, the comedian made derogatory comments about Native Americans.

Bemidji City Manager Nate Mathews told the Pioneer late Wednesday night that he had instructed Sanford Center officials to cancel May's show.
