5 children put in protective custody after drug bust
LITTLE FALLS, Minn. — Five children were placed in protective custody after authorities arrested two women and confiscated 14 grams of methamphetamine in Little Falls last week.
The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force conducted a drug enforcement operation at 4 p.m. Thursday by the Holiday Gas Station on the east side in Little Falls.
The women were arrested for felony first-degree sale of a controlled substance and second-degree possession meth. Jamie Tapia-Morrow, 30, Brooklyn Park, was arrested after allegedly selling a large quantity of meth and several prescription drugs in Little Falls. Sara Harrison, 28, Minneapolis, was in the vehicle with Tapia-Morrow and found to be in possession of 14 grams of meth with a street value of $5,000.
