Bills define fantasy sports as not gambling

ST. PAUL -- Minnesotans love fantasy sports, but the activity is in legal limbo.

More than 1 million people participate, making the state a hotbed of gamers and lawmakers are looking into a bill that would clarify it is legal.

Rep. Tim Sanders, R-Blaine, sponsors legislation that would provide a definition for fantasy sports, noting that it is not a lottery or other form of betting.
