Michael James Bellanger, Jr., age 32, of Pampa, Texas and formerly of Red Lake, Minnesota was born June 11, 1983 to parents Michael Wayne Bellanger, Sr. and Marie Antoinette Bellanger in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He died tragically on March 5, 2016 in Pampa, Texas.

Michael was second oldest in a family of six children three girls and three boys. He was very close to his brothers and sisters who always had each other's backs. He moved to Texas in 2014 to pursue many jobs he was offered. He had technical certificates in many trades. He grew up in Duluth, Red Lake Reservation, and Cass Lake with his dad and was very popular on both his father's and mother's side of the family. We all know him by his hilarious jokes and loyalty to family. He was indeed very much loved by many friends and family! We will miss you and love you always brother! Rest in peace Jesus loves you.

He is preceded in death by his father; Michael Wayne Bellanger, Sr., paternal grandmother; Irene, maternal grandmother; Ardelle Joanie-Blue, auntie; Beverly Bellanger, uncle; Don Bellanger and cousins; Violet Jackson-Bellanger and Dwayne James McFarland, Jr.

Michael is survived by his mother; Marie Bellanger. five siblings; Sara Bellanger, Garrett Bellanger, Keith Bellanger, Winona Bellanger and Nicole Bellanger, aunties; Darlene Bellanger, Shirley Stiyer, Judy Bellanger, Diane Bellanger, Carrie Bellanger, Victoria White, and Anita Bellanger, uncles; Sam White, Donald Bellanger, and Kenny Bellanger, cousins; Eric Little Crow, Isaac Nabors, Geraldine Nabors, Clyde Reyes, John Sigana, Ivan Lussier, Laura Lussier, Marybeth Bellanger, Tashina Clah, Naomi Blue, Tina Sigana, Ashley Bellanger, Valerie Dodge, Lavonne Bellanger, and Yvette.

An overnight wake for Michael will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 25th at the Red Lake Humanities Building in Red Lake. Michael will journey to Cass Lake for a second wake that will begin at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26th and continue until his 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Monday, March 28th all being held at the Veteran’s Memorial Building. Pastor Mark R. Olson will officiate. Those helping to lay Michael to rest are Garrett Bellanger, Keith Bellanger, Eric Littlecrow, Ivan Lussier, John Sigana and Ralph White. Alternate pallbearer is Sam White. His honorary pallbearers are Sara Bellanger, Winona Bellanger, Nicole Bellanger, Camden Bellanger, Marybeth Bellanger, Ashley Bellanger, Laura Lussier, Tashina Clah, Gabriel Bellanger, Tamera Charnoski and Tina Sigana. Interment will be in the Prince of Peace Cemetery at Cass Lake/Mission following his Monday service.
