A U.S. Supreme Court decision released Tuesday could mean businesses in Pender may have to start paying taxes on alcohol sales to the Omaha Tribe.
The decision could end a nearly decade-long dispute over whether the town of Pender lies within the Omaha Indian Reservation and whether the tribe has governance authority over it.
