MSP Airport steps up police presence after Belgium attacks

Travelers at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport are likely to see a greater police presence in nonsecured areas of the terminal in the wake of the bombings that occurred this week in Belgium.

Airport officials are using overtime to cover costs to have extra uniformed and plainclothes officers in the drop-off area and in the public pre-security portion of the terminal. Bomb-sniffing dogs may also be more visible, said spokesman Patrick Hogan.
