QUALIFICATIONS: Current Minnesota Director of Special Education Licensure and Superintendent Licensure. Masters' Degree with training and certification in Special Education. Eight years of related experience to include three years supervisory or leadership experience.

Job Summary (Basic Purpose of Position): Responsible for directing special education services, related services and other support services that provide support to and/or are integrated into the general education programs of ISD #38. Provides leadership, direction, and oversight in the development and delivery of the District's Special Education, 504, English Learner, Early Learning Programs, Collaborate with the Superintendent on the oversight of student performance assessments, Title programs, Curriculum Instruction Assessments (CIA) and Professional Development (PD), Home School Liaisons/Truancy programs, District strategic plan (World's Best Workforce).

Terms: 12 month contract.
