All night wake

Kevin Craig Fasthorse, 54, Minneapolis, journeyed to the Spirit World on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Providence Place, Minneapolis.

An all-night wake began at 5:00 PM, Friday, March 11, 2016, in the Youth Activity Center, Cannon Ball.

A graveside service was scheduled for Saturday, March 12, 2016, in the Fasthorse Family Cemetery, Cannon Ball.

Kevin was born August 10, 1961, in Tacoma, Washington to Fenton Fasthorse Sr. and Arbutus Yellowhammer. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy as a radioman stationed in Guam. Kevin was hardworking and very mechanical, and was formerly employed as a machine operator at Midwest Converter. He enjoyed being around his nieces and nephews, attending pow wows, laughing, meeting people, and visiting with them. Kevin had a quick and witty sense of humor. People would confide in him–he was a friend to everybody!

Survived by his mother; Arbutus Fasthorse; brothers, Richard Fasthorse and Fenton Fasthorse Jr.; sisters, Kathleen Fasthorse and Linette LaJeunesse; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father Fenton Fasthorse Sr.; and two sisters, Sharon Fasthorse and Corie Fasthorse. Casketbearers will be Wilson Downwind, Aaron Downwind, Steve Laquier, Edmund Fasthorse, Edsel Fasthorse, Joe Fasthorse, Brian Silk, Robin Uses Arrow and Fred Arcoren.
