Crookston man pleads not guilty to committing obscene acts in front of children at bus stop

CROOKSTON, Minn. -- A Crookston man pleaded not guilty Thursday to threatening and committing obscene acts in front of children at a Crookston bus stop, according to court documents.

Erick Wesley Olson, 33, was arrested Monday and appeared Thursday in Polk County District Court on eight charges: four felony counts of threats of violence and four misdemeanor counts of fifth-degree criminal sex conduct or lewd exhibition with people under the age of 16 present.

Olson was visibly upset at his Thursday court appearance, shaking his head as the prosecution read why he was charged.
